A select number of professional and entry-level professional opera singers attend the Ischia Masterclass in two sessions. Classes are held Monday – Friday and singers are advised to rest and study during the afternoon “pausa” between morning and evening classes. Classes are held at the Accademia dei Ragazzi. On weekends singers are encouraged to enjoy the island (swimming, hiking, and thermal baths) so they are rejuvenated before the next week of classes.
